I think that "Collection" is a better descriptor for the work as it is written in the style of an in-universe guidebook and the contents are all short, encyclopedic entries about fictional alien species and cultures. I'm reaching out to the primary verifiers of the title because I believe it should be re-categorized from "Nonfiction" to "Collection" and I need to gain a consensus. You're marked as a verifier of the 2002 trade paperback edition of Contacting Aliens: An Illustrated Guide to David Brin's Uplift Universe. I think that "Collection" is a better descriptor for the work as it is written in the style of an in-universe guidebook and the contents are all short, encyclopedic entries about fictional alien species and cultures.
