I made a couple changes to your verified publication Inferno. Changed the price to the list price. Added the translator templates to both the publication and title records. Changed the date from 2013-05-01 to 2013-05-13 (your note says source of data is Amazon so I used the Amazon.com.br date). Let me know and I'll reverse any change you don't agree with. <b>John</b> <small>Scifibones</small> 16:39, 21 January 2023 (EST)

I'm holding your submission adding a note to 2389519.  I was originally questioning why you had added the language Esperanto in a note but left the language field of the title as Portuguese. However, you also added a translator and the title is currently a parent title.  If the title is a translation into Esperanto, we should make it a variant of a new title record in the original language.  If this is the parent title, the Esperanto translation should be added as a child record.  Then the new translated title record can be added to any publication records where it is contained.  Could you let me know if I'm misunderstanding something about what you're trying to accomplish with this edit?  Thanks.  --Ron ~ RtraceTalk 09:57, 3 January 2024 (EST)

:Hello! Like Annie said elsewhere (I think that in her talk page), since we can't create a submission for a title without a formal publication (physical or digital book), like is the case of the Esperanto translation, it would be ok to just cite it in the notes (like it happened in all the short stories of the "Reinações" and some additional "Sítio" works). The 1931 is the parent work (in Portuguese), while the translation was released last year. ErickSoares3 (talk) 18:31, 3 January 2024 (EST)

::I see.  So the translation only appears on a website that is not eligible for inclusion as a webzine.  That's OK then, and I'll approve the edit.  Thanks for the explanation.  --Ron ~ RtraceTalk 18:59, 3 January 2024 (EST)

I notice you've added a couple of electronic magazines with page numbers. For electronic-format publications (ebooks), we don't add page numbers (not meaningful for ebooks). Since your recent submissions were accepted (in error), may I ask you to review them and remove the total number of pages, as well as the page numbering of the Contents? if you like, you can always retain the information by transferring it to the notes. :Hi! So, it is supposed to look like this? I can review the rest tomorrow and there are still some texts that I want to do the translation connection (but first, I'm waiting for the "translator template" to be accepted). For some reason, the first magazine is still to be accepted. I approved these but I am not sure that they make sense - I know that you are trying to design them based on how we handle serials and the fact that we merge/variant partial images (based on names) but something is bugging me. I will start a discussion at R&S later this week and we shall see if we want to leave them like that. Annie (talk) 13:03, 8 February 2024 (EST)
:: That first issue: it may be because you are trying to add two collections into that magazine -- which is... weird. Why are there two of them and what are they supposed to be? I can approve it as soon as I know how to fix it :) Annie (talk) 15:28, 10 March 2023 (EST)

Welcome!

Hello, ErickSoares3, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 03:46, 8 May 2018 (EDT)

As reinações de Narizinho

Hi Erick

I'm holding your submission adding a note to this title.

Hello!
I see. So the translation only appears on a website that is not eligible for inclusion as a webzine. That's OK then, and I'll approve the edit. Thanks for the explanation. --Ron ~ RtraceTalk 18:59, 3 January 2024 (EST)

The interior art variants

I approved these but I am not sure that they make sense - I know that you are trying to design them based on how we handle serials and the fact that we merge/variant partial images (based on names) but something is bugging me. I will start a discussion at R&S later this week and we shall see if we want to leave them like that. Annie (talk) 13:03, 8 February 2024 (EST)
