Hi! If you are around you might want to add your thoughts here. Christian Stonecreek 05:55, 27 January 2022 (EST)

Based on the response I have transformed this one to a COLLECTION. Thanks, Christian Stonecreek 01:51, 28 January 2022 (EST)

Magazines dating

Magazines are dated differently from books in the DB: for books we try to be as precise as our sources will allow us to be. For magazines, we date based on cover dates, even when we have exact dates unless the magazine is on a special schedule (every second Tuesday for example). So Realidades alternativas, August 2022 is dated 2022-08-00 and not 2022-08-23. The exact date goes into the notes only. I fixed that one. Thanks for adding it and keep that in mind for the next magazine you are adding. PS: While I was editing anyway, I also got the yearly record sorted out. Annie (talk) 18:57, 23 September 2022 (EDT)

Also - as for magazines we keep one title for the year, the links for specific issues go into the publication Web pages. I moved it in this case. Annie (talk) 18:58, 23 September 2022 (EDT)
All right!! Thanks! ErickSoares3 (talk) 14:42, 24 September 2022 (EDT)

O astronauta

A few small notes:

  • We want list price and not the current Amazon price so I changed R$52.43 to R$69.90
  • A book which is 21 cm tall is always going to be "tp" and not "pb".

I fixed these here. Thanks for adding it. Annie (talk) 16:29, 8 November 2022 (EST)

Same note about the price of Iluminações. This one also needed a transliteration (because of the ç and õ) :) Annie (talk) 16:32, 8 November 2022 (EST)
On the price, it happened in the past when I put the list price and then someone asked (or just changed it) me to change it to the Amazon price. ErickSoares3 (talk) 17:38, 8 November 2022 (EST)
If that happens, ask them why. Sometimes mistakes happen, sometimes editors do not know where to look for a price or do not know what we record. We want list price when it can be found - what a specific bookstore/provider sells the book for is their own decision (it can be noted in the notes if you want to of course) :) Annie (talk) 17:42, 8 November 2022 (EST)
