Welcome!

Hello, FeoAmante, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! John Scifibones 11:15, 29 June 2023 (EDT)

2 Records

Your entry here without the comma in your name should be merged with this, https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?126065, so all your work is in one record. Also, Perpetual Bullet was first published years earlier than 2023 going by some of your blog entries so the title date should be fixed if that's accurate. I've added several website links to your record (with the comma) which should be approved soon. --Username (talk) 09:58, 22 November 2023 (EST)

The author name has been fixed as part of the changes listed below. -- JLaTondre (talk) 10:11, 22 November 2023 (EST)
Thanks. His story "What's Wrong with Mildred" was published way back in 2001 according to this page, https://feoamante.com/FeoNews/FeoNews_fall_2001.html, in The RAW Anthology which stands for Random Acts of Weirdness, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Random-Acts-Weirdness-Brian-Knight/dp/1894815513. Also, "Some People" is already on ISFDB from 2002 but that Decadence anthology (and its sequel) are rare so whether it's the exact same story or he updated it is something he may be able to answer if he ever responds here. He was very active in the early 2000s horror scene so I wouldn't be surprised if some of those other stories are decades old, too. --Username (talk) 10:46, 22 November 2023 (EST)

Perpetual Bullet

I accepted your submission of Perpetual Bullet, but had to make some changes:

  • Author names with a suffix are always entered with a comma.
  • Prices are entered with a currency symbol as there are multiple currencies.
  • Amazon image URLs should have the underscores and parts between the underscores removed.
  • We only credit the artist, not the designer, in the cover art field. The designer can be mentioned in the pub notes. Since the back cover says "designed by", I moved the credit to pub notes.
  • You gave the source as the publisher website. But looking at the publisher's website, it doesn't list most of the info provided. I switched the source over to Amazon and filled in the remaining fields from that.

We appreciate your submission & hope you will continue to contribute. ISFDB has some conventions that need learning so please check out the help links in the welcome message above. And let us know if you have any questions (ISFDB:Help desk is a good resource for asking). -- JLaTondre (talk) 10:09, 22 November 2023 (EST)
