Amy, good luck with your Toronto project. It makes me realize it may be useful to add something in ISFDB to define the locations that stories take place in and then if someone was interested in Canada or even something as specific as Toronto they would have a way to look this up. I don't have easy access to that part of my collection at the moment but believe Bob Shaw's Dark Icarus takes place in the Toronto area though much of the story takes place in the air and does not address the geography of the area.

A good place to ask would be at http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.sf.written/ and if you search there now you will see threads such as Is there such a thing as Canadian SF? and Canadian SF authors. At least one of ISFDB's editors is in Canada and may have kept notes on which stories involved Canda or Toronto. Marc Kupper (talk) 16:56, 28 Mar 2007 (CDT)
