Hi, and welcome.  Thank you for the artist credits.  A couple of minor things you wouldn't have known, to keep in mind for future submissions (and I hope you'll be making many more!):
 +
* For data from secondary sources (anything not in the book itself), we record the source in the publication's notes.  This is so that someone with the book in hand can understand whether the particular piece of data is appropriate.  Notes to the moderator are not preserved beyond the life of the submission -- they're just to help the moderator in processing it.  So I took the information about the email with the artists and moved it into the publication notes.
 +
* For changes to publications that have a Primary (and perhaps Primary 2, Primary 3, etc.) verifier, our standard etiquette is basically "notify after the fact of additions, ask before submission of changes".  See the links above for some more details.  Recording an artist credit where none was present qualifies as an addition, so I have accepted the submissions and have left notes on the verifiers' talk pages.

As I said, minor things.  I just wanted you to be aware of them.  Thanks, and thank you for contributing.  --[[User:MartyD|MartyD]] 12:05, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Welshgriffin, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

Secondary sources; notifying verifiers

Hi, and welcome. Thank you for the artist credits. A couple of minor things you wouldn't have known, to keep in mind for future submissions (and I hope you'll be making many more!):

  • For data from secondary sources (anything not in the book itself), we record the source in the publication's notes. This is so that someone with the book in hand can understand whether the particular piece of data is appropriate. Notes to the moderator are not preserved beyond the life of the submission -- they're just to help the moderator in processing it. So I took the information about the email with the artists and moved it into the publication notes.
  • For changes to publications that have a Primary (and perhaps Primary 2, Primary 3, etc.) verifier, our standard etiquette is basically "notify after the fact of additions, ask before submission of changes". See the links above for some more details. Recording an artist credit where none was present qualifies as an addition, so I have accepted the submissions and have left notes on the verifiers' talk pages.

As I said, minor things. I just wanted you to be aware of them. Thanks, and thank you for contributing. --MartyD 12:05, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
