Welcome!

Hello, Watchsmart, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- JLaTondre (talk) 10:14, 1 January 2021 (EST)

Two Factor

Hello, and welcome! I have your submission on hold for a moment, as in case of primary verified publications (and their associated titles), it is customary (required, even) to first contact the primary verifier (ie editor who has the actual book in hand, and by verifying attests to the veracity of the information). Hence, I've posted a message on user talk:MLB's page for confirmation of your edit (likely, but it could also have been a misspelling in the publication in which case we keep the record as-is and create a canonical - alternate name relationship to make that visible in the database). If you intend to contribute, please do read through the material provided in the welcome message above. Also, do not hesitate to reply here or over at the Community Portal or Help desk. Sounds good to me. Let me know if there is any info I can provide. --Watchsmart 09:03, 9 September 2021 (EDT)
Can you tell me if you happen to have a copy of the magazine in hand (ie that that is where the info for the correction came from)? If not, we'll wait for MLB's confirmation (or not) :) Thanks! MagicUnk 11:52, 9 September 2021 (EDT)
