Welcome!

Hello, Spaceview, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- JLaTondre (talk) 08:59, 29 December 2023 (EST)

Escape To Cadrius

I accepted your addition of Escape to Cadrius, but had to make the following changes:

  • I standardized the title case as ISFDB has specific title case rules (see the Case bullet at TitleFields:Title).
  • I added the subtitle shown on the title page per the Amazon Sample. We record the title as per the title page.
  • I added the currency symbol. ISFDB deals in many currencies so the symbol is required.
  • I added the Canadian price shown on the back cover to the pub notes.
  • I changed the format to 'tp' based on Amazon's dimensions as ISFDB uses a specific set of values.
  • I changed the image to an Amazon one as we can only use images from sites that have explicitly given us permission to do so. See ISFDB:Image linking permissions for a list of such sites.
  • I updated the publisher to be the author which is our standard practices for self-published books that do not list a publisher.
  • I added a pub note that the date is form Amazon as the Amazon Sample does not show a date in the book.

We appreciate your submission & hope you will continue to contribute. ISFDB has some conventions that need learning so please check out the help links in the welcome message above. And let us know if you have any questions (ISFDB:Help desk is a good resource for asking). -- JLaTondre (talk) 09:11, 29 December 2023 (EST)
