Apologies for not responding earlier! I'm not sure I know how to respond. Is this the place? Anyway, thanks very much. All looks good. [[User:Hortonwho13|Hortonwho13]] 12:09, 6 August 2022 (EDT)

Welcome!

Hello, Hortonwho13, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 08:13, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

The Time-Lockers

Thank you very much for clearing the title type for this one! As we have two different levels (titles and their publications), I have gone ahead and changed also the one publication of the novel. Thanks again! Stonecreek 08:15, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Richard McKenna

Thanks very much for pointing out that the cover artist of Amazing Stories, August 1964 is Richard McKenna the known concept artist and not the author, who has never been known to have any art credits. Looks like a good catch, and it's probably safest to create another 'Author' page for the artist rather than populate McKenna-the-author's page with two highly dubious cover art credits.

I will eventually need to delete your edit as you made no actual changes to the record, but if you wish to notify the ISFDB of things like this in future you can always add a message to the Community Portal by clicking on the + tab at the top of the page (sign your message at the end with four tildes ( ~ ) which adds your ID and date/time). If you would like to make this edit yourself, click on the cover art title record and add "(II)" after the name, which will disambiguate him from the two other Richard McKenna's we already have in the database, then click Submit Data after which it will be approved by a moderating editor (add something like "See my talk page" in the Note to Moderator dialogue box). If you wish, you could then do the same with the cover art credit for the NESFA Press Hal Clement cover which you also mentioned in your last Note to Moderator. If after a week you have still not made either of these suggested edits, I will make them myself. Thanks once again for clarifying and contributing a useful detail. As it's been more than a week I've made the edits myself, and we now have Richard McKenna (II). Thanks again. PeteYoung 23:51, 27 November 2021 (EST)
