Last Name - This field is used to build the author directory. When an author is added, the software makes a best guess as to the author's last name (Robert Heinlein = Heinlein; L. E. Modesitt, Jr. = Modesitt), but there are cases that it won't guess correctly (R. Garcia y Robertson = Garcia, not Robertson). The LastName field allows the editor to supply the correct last name if needed. The field should contain the last name only.
