Help:How to get the image displayed on its wiki page

If you have an ISFDB account and are logged in it's possible that you see the following error instead of an image on the wiki page of a cover (e.g. this one): 

Error creating thumbnail: /var/www/html/wiki//bin/ulimit4.sh: line 4: /usr/local/bin/convert: No such file or directory

This is caused by a software limitation and can be fixed by adjusting your Wiki preferences:

  1. Go to My Preferenes of your ISFDB Wiki account
  2. Switch to tab Files
  3. Change the value for Limit images on file description pages to to at least "800x600px" (or bigger) and click the Save button.

If the setting is smaller, e.g. "640x480px", you'll get this error because the Wiki tries to create and display a thumbnail of the original image if the image is bigger than your setting. This fails because the program which should create the thumnail is not available on the server. If you use "800x600px" (or bigger) you'll always see the original image. "800x600px" is a sufficient setting because of the current policy that images should not be bigger than 600px.
