This is caused by a software limitation, but can be fixed by adjusting your wiki preferences. First, be sure that the files you're uploading are no more than 600 pixels tall, per ISFDB standards. Then make the following changes:
# Go to '''My Preferenes''' of your ISFDB Wiki account

# Switch to tab '''Files'''

# Change the value for '''Limit images on file description pages to''' to at least "800x600px" (or bigger).

If the setting is smaller, e.g. "640x480px", you'll get this error because the Wiki tries to create and display a ''thumbnail'' of the original image if the image is bigger than your setting. This fails because the program which should create the thumnail is not available on the server. If you use "800x600px" (or bigger) you'll always see the ''original'' image. "800x600px" is a sufficient setting because of the current policy that images should not be bigger than 600px.

If you have an ISFDB account and are logged in, you may receive the following error on the wiki page after uploading an image file to the ISFDB server:

Error creating thumbnail: /var/www/html/wiki//bin/ulimit4.sh: line 4: /usr/local/bin/convert: No such file or directory

This is caused by a software limitation, but can be fixed by adjusting your wiki preferences. First, be sure that the files you're uploading are no more than 600 pixels tall, per ISFDB standards. Then make the following changes:

  1. Click the My Preferences link while logged into the ISFDB wiki (names of link will differ based on the skin you're using)
  2. Switch to the Files tab
  3. Change the value for Limit images on file description pages to: to at least "800x600px" (or larger) using the dropdown menu.
  4. Click the Save button.

If the setting is smaller, e.g. "640x480px", you will get this error because the wiki tries to create and display a thumbnail of an image which is bigger than your setting. If you use "800x600px" (or larger) you will always see the original image.
