Patrisha Reece-Davies left school at age 15 with few formal qualifications. Despite this, she had a varied early career in industrial, retail, and service areas. This included running a franchise in a major department store and working on advertisement features for newspaper groups.

She set up her own office in the mid 1980s, offering market research for small businesses and individuals.

She spent ten years ina consulting role in the music industry. As well as reinforcing an interest in singing and songwriting which she had nurtured for some years, this period triggered a lasting interest in contract law.

In 1992, Patrisha resumed formal study. In 1993 she enrolled at De Montfort University to study law and marketing, eventually eanring a PhD.

Since 2001 she has taught 'A' level Law to high school students in the UK. She continues to write fantasy fiction and persue her legal research. She lives in Cambridgeshire (UK) with her husband and their two cats, Kato and Rufus.
