The following publication dates were officially announced by the publisher:

• Perry Rhodan #1: 8 September 1961
• Terra Extra #1: 7 September 1962 with simultaneous publication of Perry Rhodan #53
• Perry Rhodan #1000: 21 October 1980
• In June or July of 1973 the day of publication changed from Fridays to Tuesdays.
  
• Terra Extra skipped ist publication week twice and had 4 weeks between nos. 8 and 9; and a further 4 weeks between nos. 34 and 35.
• in 1963 and 1964 there are 3 weeks - or better: three numbers of the Perry Rhodan series - for which there was no corresponding number of Terra:
  • 28 Dec 1962: Terra 264 & Perry Rhodan 69 // 4 Jan 1963: Perry Rhodan 70 // 11 Jan 1963: Terra 265 & Perry Rhodan 71
  • 27 Dec 1963 (?): Terra 320 & Perry Rhodan 122 // 3 Jan 1964 (?): Perry Rhodan 123 // 10 Jan 1964: Terra 321 & Perry Rhodan 124
  • 25 Dec 1963 (?): Terra 376 & Perry Rhodan 173 // 1 Jan 1965 (?): Perry Rhodan 174 // 8 Jan 1965: Terra 377 & Perry Rhodan 175

Can the "missing week", i.e. the week in which Perry Rhodan saw two numbers have been one of the three windows?
Circumstantial evidence / clues:

• The first option can be disregarded because PR 18 - PR 69 are all copyrighted 1962, and PR 70 - PR 121 are all copyrighted 1963. And with PR 122 copyrighted 1964 there just is no "spare" number that would allow for the scenario of two Perry Rhodan digests being published in 1962 or in 1963.
• PR 187 features a list of the new Heyne paperbacks ("Neu in diesem Monat"), including nos 3041 and 3042. As per Terra #385 they were published in March 1965. This supports the assumption, that the "duplicate week" occurred in the 1960s, i.e. pre March 1965.
• The Perry Rhodan paperbacks were announced for "early September 1964" (Anfang September). 11 September is more towards the middle of September than early September...
