The following publication dates were officially announced by the publisher:

  • Perry Rhodan #1: 8 September 1961
  • Terra Extra #1: 7 September 1962 with simultaneous publication of Perry Rhodan #53
  • With the beginning of February 1971, Moewig changed its day of publication from Wednesday to Friday. Source: Science Fiction Times Nr. 118/19, p. 39

  • Perry Rhodan #1000: 21 October 1980
  • In June or July of 1973 the day of publication changed from Fridays to Tuesdays.
  • Terra Extra skipped its publication week twice and had 4 weeks between nos. 8 and 9; and a further 4 weeks between nos. 34 and 35.
  • in 1963 and 1964 there are 3 weeks - or better: three numbers of the Perry Rhodan series - for which there was no corresponding number of Terra:

  • Circumstantial evidence: The "Leserkontaktseite" of Perry Rhodan #365 (30 August 1968) announces that the radio station "Deutschlandfunk" would be broadcasting an interview with Hans Kneifel on Saturday, 24 August 1968, and that the editor of this section was pleased to be able to make this information available just in time.
