Fear the Reaper

I've accepted the submission to add this record to the database, but several changes had to be made, based on ISFDB standards as given on this help page. Please take some time to read that page before making future submissions.

  • Date field: This was changed from 2013-00-00 to 2013-10-01, based on the Amazon listing.
  • Page Count field: I saw that some contents appeared on Roman-numbered pages, so I checked the Amazon Look-Inside and saw that there were 10 such pages. I've added those to the page count field. If the last numbered page isn't 388, please update the record.
  • Pub Binding/Format: Standard entry for a trade paperback should be "tp" (lower case).
  • ISBN field: Enter the number as given in the publication. All books after January 2007 should have an ISBN-13. So I changed "0-9922182-1-7" to "978-0-9922182-1-8".
  • Price field: Enter the publisher's retail price, not a bookdealer's sale price. I changed "$13.49" to "$14.99", based on the Amazon listing.
  • Image URL field: The link was removed, because it was to a website for which we don't have explicit permission to deep-link. I've replaced it with the one to the file on Amazon.
  • Contents:
    • I changed the types of the two introduction records from SHORTFICTION to ESSAY.
    • I disambiguated the introductions by adding the title of the work being introduced, the ISFDB standard for such generic titles.
    • The title field of "Hecate (poem)" was changed to just "Hecate" (the actual title as it appears in the publication), and changed the type from SHORTFICTION to POEM.
    • The author "E.C. McMullen Jr." was changed to "E. C. McMullen, Jr." per ISFDB standards. Note the space between initials, and the comma after the last name.

I also removed the synopsis as it didn't follow the ISFDB standards of an impartial, objective synopsis of the work. Mhhutchins 07:55, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
