Welcome!

Hello, PauloBrito, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Ahasuerus 05:09, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

Thirty Tributes to Calvino by Rhys Hughes

Hi, Paulo and welcome to the ISFDB. I've accepted your submission to add a publication record for this new collection. It's very good for a first submission. There are a couple of things that will need to be corrected. "pb" is used for mass-market paperbacks of 7 inches (18 centimeters) or shorter height. We use "tp" for softcover books which are taller than those dimensions.

Also, the page count should be 202. The last page doesn't contain text, even though it's given a page number. So we use 202 as the page count.

One last thing: Even though the actual publication date and price are not stated in the book, you can use a reliable secondary source. In the case of this publication, you can change the publication date to "2015-01-27" and the price to £8.99 and give the source of Amazon.co.uk in the Note field. Any unstated data must be sourced in the Note field.

Do you have a copy of the book yet? If so, you should add the contents when you get a chance. If not, let me know and I can add them to my copy which arrived in the mail just this week.

I'll make the changes from above and will add a link to the cover image file on Amazon.

Again, welcome to the ISFDB. If you have any general questions, you can post them on the help desk. You can also post any questions to me on my talk page. There are some useful links in the Welcome section above. Mhhutchins 07:58, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
