Needle in a Timestack

I approved your submission for Needle in a Timestack, but had to delete the cover scan which was from a source that ISFDB does not have permission to use. Bob 15:13, 19 April 2021 (EDT)

Hi, I stumbled across this entry in the database pretty much by chance, and saw a couple more issues with it:
* Amazon reports the dimensions as 200x140mm, so it's a trade paperback (tp) rather than a mass-market paperback (pb), as per 9x% of present-day UK publications. The full gory details for what format values to use are documented at Template:PublicationFields:Format
* The contents you'd entered were processed by the system as if they were new stories, causing duplicate entries to be created for them. These should be merged with the existing entries for these stories.
I've submitted edits to fix all of the above, although as there are currently over 400 items in the queue, they may not show up by the time you read this. (I also added a proper Amazon cover image URL - similar to what's described here: User_talk:Distanceswimmer#Dear_Leader_Tales - and cleaned up the pub note.)
NB: all of these issues are things that aren't at all obvious to a new editor, and I'm 99% certain I've made exactly the same errors myself in the past, possibly more than once, so don't think you've done anything wrong.
Something I did notice whilst merging the dupe stories: the 5 stories that are listed in the publisher blurb are (IIRC) 3 short stories, 1 novelette and 1 novella. This seems a bit short for a book claiming to be 592 pages long.
I strongly suspect the blurb is missing most of the contents, and this publication actually has the same contents as this one, in which case the simplest thing will just be to import all of them over and/or merge this title with that earlier one. Chances are, this isn't going to be anything that we can confirm until either someone gets a copy of the physical book, or a preview of the ebook becomes available on Amazon or Kobo.
