Welcome!

Hello, NatashaRhodes, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! ~Bill, --Bluesman 22:02, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Dante's Girl

There is already a record for [this pub], the only difference from the one you submitted being the price. Is the original record incorrect, or is there another printing/edition with the different price? To respond, just click on the [edit] button to the right, and type in the window that opens, indenting with a ':'. At the top of the window there are a series of 11 tabs. The second last one is the 'signature' tab, which will sign and date any response. Thanks! And again, welcome! ~Bill, --Bluesman 22:11, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Images

From the generic [Help Page] on how to enter a novel, there is [another link] to a page regarding Image Permissions. There are a limited number of sites that allow us to directly link to images. The links/urls you put in the submissions A: do not work; B: don't link to a site we do have permission for. There is a way around that. There is an automated process that you can use to upload an image from your computer to the DB, almost the same way you would attach to an e-mail. I think you've already found the method but it didn't capture any images from the other site. If you can successfully download the images you want to your computer, getting them on here is easy, though you need to wait until a new publication record is submitted/accepted. For an existing record you can just use the "Upload [New] Image" link that shows when you open an individual record. ~Bill, --Bluesman 22:25, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

The Last Angel; Circus of Sins

Again both of [[1]] & [[2]] these are already in the database, one with the same difference in price and the other was missing the artist. Existing records can be edited to add/change data, though you need to be careful doing such to Primary Verified records. Those are the ones for which at least one person has physically verified the information. ~Bill, --Bluesman 23:05, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
