Welcome!

Hello, Jimbomcc69, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 18:16, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

the price comes from the amazon listing I found at

http://www.amazon.com/What-Heads-Terrifying-Table-Manners-ebook/dp/B00KLOX8JA/ref=la_B00AXEG9SU_1_2/181-4320541-7960441?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1401634036&sr=1-2== What Has Two Heads, Ten Eyes, and Terrifying Table Manners? ==

I've accepted the submission adding a record of this work to the database, but have made a few changes based on ISFDB standards.

"Forward" was changed to "Foreword (What Has Two Heads, Ten Eyes, and Terrifying Table Manners?)", correcting the spelling (based on the Amazon "Look Inside", and disambiguating the generic title per ISFDB standards. I also changed it from SHORTFICTION to ESSAY (again based on the Amazon listing).

The author of "Out to Pasture" was changed from "K.C. Grifant" to "KC Grifant". This is the credit given on the editor's website and the Amazon "Look Inside".

Price was changed from "$5:15" to $4.99, based on the Amazon listing. I could not find the publisher's website, so I could not confirm the price you give in the record.

A question: where did the page count and the page numbers for the contents come from? Kindle ebooks don't have set page numbers, as they are user-determined. We ordinarily leave those fields blank.

To respond to this message, click on the "[edit]" link to the right. Enter your response in the dialogue box which opens. Start your message with a colon (:) which separates and indents it from the previous message making it easier to follow the discussion. In successive messages, add another colon to the number in the previous message. End your entry with four tildes (~~~~), which will automatically "sign" and date your message. Then click the "Save page" button. When someone has left a message on your talk page, you will be notified by a highlighted "My Messages" link when you log into the ISFDB. I have placed a "Watch" on your talk page so that I will be notified when you respond. Keep all discussions on the same page on which it began. Do not respond on the other person's talk page.

Thanks for contributing. Mhhutchins 17:13, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

The page count came from a PDF version of the anthology.
Thanks for the response. You should add that information to the Note field of the record. Was the $5.15 price for the PDF version?
Also, to respond to a specific message, click on the "[edit]" link as explained above. Do not use the "Edit this page" link. Thanks. Mhhutchins 18:26, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Dragon: Smuggler Tales is listed as being published in 2014. It is actually 2015. Is it possible to change this please? Thank you
