Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.
Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

About your note in the submission: The DB is ran by volunteers and if someone does not add the books, we do not have them. If you are willing to add your missing books, I can assist you and answer any questions you may have (and fix whatever needs fixing). The problem with short stories is that we work based on publications - so we need to add the book/magazine the story is in so we can add the story. So it takes a very long time sometimes :)
In addition, as per the current policy, not all genre stories are eligible -- anything published in a book or a magazine is, anything from a webzine with issues is but stories published only on one's site are not. Non-genre stories are not eligible at all. Here is the complete policy.
I wish we had the bandwidth for adding everything quickly -- but we do not. With that being said, I did add your list to my list of things to work on - but the list is a bit... long.
