David Anthony D'Amico grew up as the son of a fisherman and commercial clam digger, and spent much of his youth on the ocean.

As with many aspects of the author's life, David's writing skills are almost entirely self-taught. He has been writing speculative fiction as a hobby for many years, but has only recently begun to annoy others with it. He spends his days building computers, and at night he writes.
