A wide variety of sources (including Locus1) claim that "Lloyd Rose" is a pseudonym for a person named "Sarah Tonyn". The Wikipedia page claims that "She often jokes in her biographies" that this is her true name, and also note that this is a pun on the antidepressant "serotonin". So this may be a false pseudonym. The last name "Tonyn" is rare in the US, but not unknown (peoplefinders.com gives 10 such people, including a "Sarah Tonyn" in Cleveland, Ohio). However, she does make this claim in her published books, e.g. in "City of the Dead", and that is usually enough for us to list it as a "legal name" until and unless better evidence comes along to dispute this claim.
