I'm not really happy with the "protected_page" page. It uses the terms "Administrator" and "Sysop", which both link to the same page where the Moderators (as we usually call them) are listed in alphabetical order rather than in order of seniority, experience or availability.
* I'm happy if the Bureaucrat/Moderator distinction is irrelevant.
* Experience rather depends on the questions being asked - I defer to almost all other Mods on Magazine issues, but feel fairly confident that I can help with British Book publications better than most of them.
* Availability may be the key point, in which case I feel we should be pointing people at the Moderator noticeboard instead, not just the Community Portal. BLongley 16:30, 18 Aug 2007 (CDT)
