Watcher

Hello, I've rejected your submission. As the title is already existing here, it's better, instead of creating a new record that is not to our standards (no currency symbol, wrong use the publication series' concept, link to delete), to either clone the existing publication (go there, use the "Clone This Pub" link and modify what needs to be modified) or to add the publication to the title (go there, use the "Add Publication to This Title" link and fill the details). I would advise you to use the first option. Note also that we're usually not very thrilled about adding books that are to be published in the future (it's better to wait for them to really appear). Names

Hi, I see you entering an url in the place of the artist name. While the url may be on the book, I'd prefer the name Deranged Doctor Design in the name field. I will be rejecting your submissions with the url as name, you can re-enter them using the name of the artist. Chapbooks

Hello, after your recent additions appearead on our cleanup reports, I've had to make some changes to your verified records to conform to our standards:

  • deleted "publication series" data, as, in this case, "The Chosen" is in fact a Title Series. A tip: a publication series is publisher-specific (e.g. "Ace Double" is a publication series), a title series is text-specific (e.g. "Dune" is a title series).
  • added missing SHORTFICTION records (there must one and just one such record per CHAPBOOK).
  • put some of these texts in the "The Chosen" title series.
  • merged all that have to be (as some of the texts were already in the db).

All this should probably have been corrected at moderator level just after the submission. Can you check your author page to see if everything is OK for you? Thanks. Hauck 06:10, 17 February 2018 (EST)

Watcher/Runner

Hello, I've tweaked some of your submissions as we: 1) do not enter the number of pages for ebook (it's quite meaningless), 2) do not enter title series data in the title, so Watcher will stay this way and won't become Watcher: Book I of The Chosen exactly as this book is not entered as Elysium Fire: A Prefect Dreyfus Emergency even if it's what's on title page. Also, please source your data or verify the publication.Hauck 02:21, 20 February 2018 (EST)
