Welcome!

Hello, Pippy, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 19:37, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for your submissions!

I have accepted the NOVEL and the solo COLLECTION. That said, the data seems somewhat incomplete. We do need the other data as well (at least page count, binding, price and ISBN: all of these should be readily available and be added). In the case of the COLLECTION, it'd be nice to add the contents also.

The missing of these essential data is one of the reasons I put your third submission on hold. The main reason is that a COLLECTION by three authors is most unusual (there are only very few exceptions for a COLLECTION entered as by two authors) and may be possibly better entered as an ANTHOLOGY. Could you please give here some information on the structure of the book (where all the items written by all three authors in collaboration?). Nevertheless, thank you very much for contributing! For your convenience: here are links to the two records that were accepted into the database: Low Life Underdogs and Spinner. If possible please add further data as Stonecreek mentioned above, especially the contents of the collection). More importantly, if you have a copies of the books, do a primary verification (see the link in the Welcome section above). If you don't have copies of the books, you should give the source for your data in the record's Note field. Thanks. Mhhutchins 21:56, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
I've updated each record to add data sourced from Amazon. Mhhutchins 22:05, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, Michael! Stonecreek 10:31, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
Well, no further response (and a look at amazon didn't sustain the assumption of a COLLECTION), so I rejected your submission: it may be that this item isn't eligible to ISFBD at all, but without further information that is really hard to decide. Stonecreek 09:33, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
