Tempo Star is an imprint of Grosset & Dunlap that was active in at least 1979. Tempo Star Books were distributed by Ace Books which was also part of Grosset & Dunlap at the time.[1]

Tempo Star did not have it's own logo and instead the publications are branded with "Ace" with "Tempo Star" appearing on the title page.[1]
