Rycke Foreman was born on Novermber 23, 1971, in Durango, Colorado, to Lucille Marie and William Foreman, Jr. As of 2009, he has four children and has been happily married for nearly 15 years. In 2002, Rycke and the family moved to central Arizona, where they currently reside.

Rycke received the acceptance letter for his first published short story in 1992--on his 21st birthday. He has continued to publish short stories and poetry to date, primarily in the horror/fantasy/slipstream genres. He is also a part-time publicist. He has written (and directed) three short films, one of which won 3rd place for Best Screenplay at a small New Mexico film festival, an co-wrote (and co-directed) a feature length film that has since fallen into limbo.

In 2009, Rycke optioned his first script in Hollywood, an "old-school, David Zucker/Mel Brooks style spoof." He is currently working on two new original screenplays, one a slow, character driven dark comedy, the other a "roller coaster ride of action and horror."

Rycke did his first acting in high school, landing the role of Col. Pickering in My Fair Lady during his freshman year. He has worked in virtually every aspect of independent filmmaking, stage and television production in the Four Corners area, and currently works for the Sedona NOW Network (Channel 18) as voice talent, camera operator, chief lighting technician, production assistant and actor. He is also a camera operator and production assistant for Sedona Now, a monthly, statewide show on KTVK, 3 TV Arizona, featuring tourist destination and artist mecca, Sedona, world famous for its red rocks.
