Born in 1871, Millicent (daughter of Henry & Helen (Bishop) Olmsted) graduated from Miss Mittleberger's School in 1890. An art critic and staff writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer during the early 1900's, her byline first appeared in the Sunday Magazine section of Feb. 4, 1900 for an illustrated article about Cleveland's Art Club and School of Art. She worked on the Cleveland Leader from 1902-1905, published stories in Cosmopolitan, and wrote a number of books and stories for children. Married name: Millicent Olmsted Winsor.
