My education was in literature and history. My work experience, by contrast, has been in economics, statistics, markets, and the like. I have been a soldier, a marketing executive, a federal civil servant, an R&D manager for a large not-for-profit, a general manager in manufacturing, an independent consultant predominantly in the area of computer software, an entrepreneur, and an editor. So much for the outer man. Throughout my life, say from age seven forward, I’ve considered my real calling to be a writer, perhaps even a poet. Indeed I’ve written a number of science fiction, three mystery, and two contemporary novels, some still unpublished, others out there somewhere. Ask Amazon. Information about my most recently published works, Ghulf Genes and In Search of Anna Mangna, is on this site.

I’m married to Brigitte Theodora nee Schulz, a retired reference publisher. We both come from Europe. We have three grown children, five grandchildren, and two great-grand children. We live in Michigan.
