I accepted the submission to [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?45971 this record] that replaces "Revolution of 1950" with "Revolution of 1960".  You may (or not) have noticed that the record has been primary verified by two other editors.  In the case that you notice that a primary-verified record doesn't match your copy of the book, it is ISFDB policy to first notify the primary verifiers to discuss the situation before submitting a change in the record. (See the link above in the Welcome section, about primary verification.)  Editors have differing levels of notification, which may be posted on their user talk page. I will tell both of the verifiers of this record of your change and let them determine if their copies agree with the change. In the future, primary verifiers must be notified first, unless the change is exempted under their own preferences. Thanks. [[User:Mhhutchins|Mhhutchins]] 21:22, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Thomas64, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 18:24, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Dawn of Flame

Thanks for adding the pagination and content to this record. I've disambiguated the foreword, per ISFDB standards, by adding the title of the book parenthetically. If you have a copy of the book, please do a primary verification (linked in the Welcome section above.) Thanks again, and welcome to the ISFDB. Mhhutchins 18:26, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

"Revolution of 1950"

I accepted the submission adding a variant title to this title. Will you be adding a publication of the story using that title and author credit? If so, it's better to create the record by adding the publication and then making the new title record into a variant of the original title. At the moment we have a similar title record (Revolution of 1960) which is only credited to Weinbaum. Do you know if this is the same story that was credited to Farley and Weinbaum in 1938 under the title of "Revolution of 1950"? Thanks. Mhhutchins 20:21, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Your subsequent submission made it clear what you were attempting to do. Now I understand how you wanted to correct the title as it was published in this collection. You will now have to merge this new title record with the one you created in the previous submission. If you need help in how to do this, just ask here. I'm not even sure if you've found your talk page yet. Mhhutchins 20:25, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

The Red Peri

I accepted the submission to this record that replaces "Revolution of 1950" with "Revolution of 1960". Thanks. Mhhutchins 21:22, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry; I'll be more careful in future. I had the book in hand and double checked both the contents page and the story page before making the changes. But I'll be sure to notify editors in future.thomas64 22:46, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
