Welcome!

Hello, SCWKorsgaard, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! MagicUnk 03:59, 14 August 2022 (EDT)

Future Publication Dates

Unfortunately, I was required to reject the following submissions. Poor Man's Sky, Lord of the Shattered Land and Worlds Long Lost. From the relevant help section, the third bullet point under Date "Do not create records for newly announced publications scheduled for release more than 90 days into the future, as these plans often change." When we get within 90 days, your submissions can be unrejected and approved or edited, your work is not wasted. John Scifibones 16:51, 15 August 2022 (EDT)

Library of the Sapphire Wind

I accepted this submission however, I removed the review. Reviews are content titles in the publications in which they appear. The review for 'Library of the Sapphire Wind' will be reflected on the title record page after someone enters the May-June 2022 issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Here is an example showing how it will look. John Scifibones 17:20, 15 August 2022 (EDT)

Source for cover artists

Hello, I have two of your submissions [1] and [2] on hold as I couldn't confirm where you got the data for the cover artists from. For The Rivers of War, Amazon's LookInside (Kindle) has Dominic Harman as cover artist (probably incorrect), not Eric Williams. It's always a good idea to add (a link to) the source(s) you've consulted to the notes field. Any additional information to clarify why you've changed or added data for a publication or title record can go in the Notes to Moderators field. The less we have to second guess, the faster your submissions will be approved. Thanks! MagicUnk 12:19, 16 August 2022 (EDT)
