Hans Kurz

Hello, is it you, Ronald? I've put your submission on hold to clarify if the 'parent' author really should be changed. Christian Stonecreek 02:25, 13 February 2018 (EST)

Okay, I think you're right. Approved. Christian Stonecreek 00:24, 15 February 2018 (EST)

Yep, I was Hans Kurz (but only for a short time; it's more or less a fannish pseudonym). ;-)

Der rote Gott

Hi, I've put your submission on hold, as we already have this item 'in stock' (see here), I think. It's only that we have it as a CHAPBOOK (titles that have one piece of shortfiction), containing a novella with the same title: the range for NOVELs here begins when they have at least 40,000 words. So, the submission may better be cancelled? In any case, Wuppertal rules! Christian Stonecreek 10:58, 13 September 2018 (EDT)

There is no CHAPBOOK oft his title. And never was. I still need a bit of experience to find out how do work in this data bank! All the best from Germany! ;-)

The definition of an isfdb CHAPBOOK is really just that it contains ONE piece of shortfiction (if there were more, it would transform into a COLLECTION). If "Der rote Gott" (that means the text) would be reprinted in a COLLECTION of yours (or an ANTHOLOGY) it would be defined as a novella (just like Jack London's 'prequel' is a piece of shortfiction). So, it's really a (fine, as for me) piece of shortfiction. And also all the best from Germany! Christian Stonecreek 08:42, 14 September 2018 (EDT)
I just have looked into the publication and found that it contains a text of less than novel length, so I rejected your initial submission.
It really takes some time to get into the inner logic of this little db. Christian Stonecreek 05:39, 15 September 2018 (EDT)

Regarding this submission: What is the source for this change? Biographical data should be sourced same as with publication data. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 08:02, 24 November 2022 (EST)

I'd think it's okay to approve, considering this and Ronald ('Ronibald') being one of the co-authors of Sternenjäger im Kosmos. Christian Stonecreek (talk) 09:01, 24 November 2022 (EST)
Edit has been approved & source statement added. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 08:36, 26 November 2022 (EST)
I also added the year of his death. Christian Stonecreek (talk) 06:50, 27 November 2022 (EST)

Es gibt 'ne Todesanzeige im Netz, ich hab aber die Quelle vergessen. P.S. Ich versteh alles, was ihr schreibt, bin aber leider nicht immer fähig, grammatikalisch einwandfrei zu antworten. ;-)
