Seven Trips Through Time and Space

Thanks for the prices for Seven Trips Through Time and Space , but we only need the first one in the price field (in this case the UK one, "5/-"), the rest go in notes. They don't all fit otherwise - it got truncated at "UK: 5/-, Austral"! BLongley 18:22, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Horizons

I have three of your submissions on hold, awaiting .... 'enlightenment', as it were. The third adds a note "Complete version"; of what? The SFBC issued an omnibus edition containing two separate anthologies both edited by Dozois. There is a similar theme, but there is no mention by Dozois in either of the prefaces that they are companion volumes, issued separately for any reason. I re-read them just to make sure. If this had been a trade edition there would likely have been a new preface to 'explain' the bigger edition. The SFBC creates many Omnibus editions that never get produced in Trade versions. Is there some source I am unaware of that indicates these are 'companion' volumes that were originally produced separately but are intended to be one book? Thanks. ~Bill, --Bluesman 23:26, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Exploring the Horizons: Explorers, and The Furthest Horizon

Hello Ommadawndk. You had written on my talk page

Can there be created a connection between these 2:
I don't see how to do it.

The connection is already there but is done in the publication records. http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?183042 is for Exploring the Horizons: Explorers, and The Furthest Horizon which is an omnibus of the Explorers anthology and The Furthest Horizon which is another anthology. Exploring the Horizons has one publication and if you look at the contents for that you will see that it includes Explorers on page 1 and The Furthest Horizon on page 475. --Marc Kupper|talk 09:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
