Hello and welcome!

I initially approved your request to add this book but it is not really eligible for the DB - we only cover speculative fiction as described in our Rules of Acquisition: here. As this novel is a police procedural and does not have speculative elements, it is not eligible to be added. Sorry, Annie, but - though the novel seems to be nongenre - I do think that Heitz is quite clearly above the threshold: he gained his fame entirely by genre work (which would make the novel eligible after all). Christian Stonecreek (talk) 14:10, 7 February 2024 (EST)
