Just an FYI that I have answered (some of) the questions that you posted on the Help Desk page a few days ago. Ahasuerus 16:33, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Jlassen, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Annie 18:32, 13 December 2018 (EST)

Currency

Hi, we are an international database, with entries for books published and sold all over the world. The currency sign is a vital piece of information. So, please use it when entering a price and do not take it away when editing.--Dirk P Broer 06:31, 26 June 2019 (EDT)

Cover Image Uploading

Cover image uploading is a two step process. Once you have uploaded a cover to the wiki, you need to click on the image (so you get just the image), copy that URL, and then edit the publication to add the URL to the publication. So for Image:BRDFTHWTCH2013.jpg, you need to enter this URL, in Brood of the Witch Queen. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 10:05, 29 June 2019 (EDT)

Conan the Barbarian

I've deleted your verified Conan the Barbarian; The Original .... because it already exists in the data base without the material following the colon. If you want to verify the pub, find "Conan the Barbarian" and do so. Bob 16:27, 28 August 2020 (EDT)
