Welcome!

Hello, Fictionwriter, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- JLaTondre (talk) 20:33, 20 December 2020 (EST)

Craig Strickland

We are only able to link to pictures from sites that have given us permission. Facebook is not one of those. However, I found the same image on Amazon. Since we have permission to use their images, I switched it to that. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 20:33, 20 December 2020 (EST)

Scary Stories for Sleepovers #8

I have accepted Scary Stories for Sleepovers #8, but had to make some changes:

  • Title: The cover and secondary sources provide the title as "Sleep-Over" and not "Sleepover". If the title page actually has "Sleepover", please let me know.
  • Format: You did not specify the format. Based on Amazon, I entered tp.
  • Image URL: For Amazon images, please remove the underscores and everything in-between. So https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51ERA49DHBL._SX310_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg becomes https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51ERA49DHBL.jpg
  • Source: You did not provide a source. Entries that are not primary verified should be sourced, so I used Amazon. If you actually have this pub, please verify it (see help above) and remove the secondary source.

Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 18:49, 4 May 2021 (EDT)

Mystery Weekly Magazine, February 2018

Regarding this submission: The ISFDB is a speculative fiction database. As this submission is a mystery magazine, is the listed story speculative (fantasy, science fiction, or supernatural horror)? Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 19:14, 4 May 2021 (EDT)

As there has not been a response, I have had to reject this. If you return and there is speculative content, ping me and I will unreject the submission. -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:36, 13 May 2021 (EDT)
