Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

Grantville Gazette

I approved your submissions but have a couple of comments

I started looking into these and got side-tracked. I was wondering if they should be set up as MAGAZINE instead of as ANTHOLOGY. The 1632 site describes it as "the 1632 universe's magazine". --MartyD 16:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, you're right: the "what's it all about" section of each one speaks about magazine as well. Another thing that just occured to me is that the number in the name should be in arabic numerals, as roman numerals are used by paper books published by Baen. This was of little importance in the past, because the paper books contained (nearly) the same content as the magazine issues, but this has changed since Grantville Gazette V. That one is a selection of stories from magazine issues 5-11 and the (supposed) following books will follow the trend. --Dtardon 17:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I do not think the Grantville Gazette is usefully or properly regarded as a magazine. i have verified several of the publications, and intend to enter and verify others, all as anthologies. They are, as aeveral anthology sereis, near the line between anthology and magazine. But given that we indexed Destinies as an anthology sereis, I think we should do the same with Grantville Gazettte. Moreover, at least soem of these have multiple editions (pb and ebook). MAGAZINE records do not support multiple publications of a given title. -DES Talk 17:53, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
