Black Joe O' the Bow

Hello, and welcome to the ISFDB! I have had to reject your submission to change the author and date for Black Joe O' the Bow on hold, as that would result in loss of content information of More Great Tales of Horror. The right way to add the original 1874 title by James Smith is to variant the current 1935 J. Smith title to the original one. To do that, display the Black Joe O' the Bow title record, and select Make This Title a Variant from the left-hand menu, and then use the 2nd option to create a new parent title with the original date & name of the author. Doing so, will display the title as ... by James Smith [as by J. Smith]. I've done that for you.

Oh and by the way, if you plan on contributing more, then a great starting point are the links provided in the welcome message above. And you can reply here by clicking on the small 'edit' at the right of this message's title and signing with four '~'. Also, do not hesitate to ask questions over at the Help Desk or Community Portal - there are always helpful editors & moderators around that are more than willing to help you out.
