Regarding this submission: We credit works as they are entered in the publication with only a few small exceptions (see TitleFields:Author for the details). This story is from a verified pub (meaning someone said they checked the record against the pub). As such, I have created an alternate name linking Mark Schultis with Mark J. Schultis and varianted the title to one by Mark J. Schultis. This causes it to be listed under the Mark J. Schultis page, but shown as having been credited as by Mark Schultis. If you believe the 942866 entry is incorrect, you will need to leave a message on the verifier's talk page asking them to double check their publication. Hope that all made sense. Please let us know if you have questions. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 07:55, 24 November 2023 (EST)

Welcome!

Hello, Dett80, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!Annie 15:03, 12 June 2018 (EDT)

Detriment

Hello,

I approved your submission but did a few small changes:

 • When an author name contains an initial, we put a dot after it.
 • We usually do not record the title series as part of the title unless it is actually part of it. From what I can discover, it seems like "The Dawn Cluster" is the series - so I pulled it away from the title.

I also added the ASIN and a cover (feel free to replace the cover with your own if you have a better one). One question: we credit the illustrators but not the designers of a cover - is "BZN Studio Designs" credited for design or both for design and illustration? The result is here. Thanks for your submission and welcome again! Annie 15:08, 12 June 2018 (EDT)

Duplicity

I accepted you addition of Duplicity, but made some changes to comply with ISFDB standards:

 • I removed the page count as we don't use that field for ebooks (I placed an equivalent page count in the pub notes instead).
 • I added the $ symbol to the price field as we deal in multiple currencies.
 • I added the cover image from Amazon. If you plan on replacing with an actual scan, that's fine to still do.

We do appreciate your submission. ISFDB has some conventions that need learning, but everything should be in the help links in the welcome message above. We hope you will continue to contribute. And please let us know if you have any questions (ISFDB:Help desk is a good resource for asking). -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:59, 21 August 2018 (EDT)

A Shilling for your Troubles

Regarding this submission: We credit works as they are entered in the publication with only a few small exceptions (see TitleFields:Author for the details). This story is from a verified pub (meaning someone said they checked the record against the pub). As such, I have created an alternate name linking Mark Schultis with Mark J. Schultis and varianted the title to one by Mark J. Schultis. This causes it to be listed under the Mark J. Schultis page, but shown as having been credited as by Mark Schultis. If you believe the Sidearm & Sorcery Volume Two entry is incorrect, you will need to leave a message on the verifier's talk page asking them to double check their publication. Hope that all made sense. Please let us know if you have questions. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 07:55, 24 November 2023 (EST)
