Hi.  I did not notice your {{P|NLGSCNCFCD2011|Analog, April 2011}} submission duplicated an existing (but much less detailed/complete) entry until after approving it.  I removed the existing one because yours had better detail, and while researching/cleaning up, I merged the title, linked a couple of dangling reviews, and put the various features into their respective series.  I apologize if you had your heart set on doing those things, but hopefully I saved you some work.  --[[User:MartyD|MartyD]] 12:52, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, AJWM, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Ahasuerus 01:07, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Analog - June 2010

Your approved pub. The address for the cover image appears to be wrong. Reviews link automatically to the books reviewed - if the titles and authors identical. In this case the Colfer book did not link because the ellipsis in the book are entered, correctly, with spaces in between the dots. It is a good practice to check and see if a book is in the database before adding a review to make sure it will match. Otherwise, the matching must be done manually using the Link Review to Title option. To make life easy, I have made the fix. Also, it is very important to add the magazine to the wiki page and link it into the Editor record series so we know it is in the database. Until you become familiar with these processes you may want to place a note on the Moderator Notice Board asking someone to do so. I might note that new moderator Tpi has been entering most of the recent Analog's so he will be more up to speed in the manner which recent issues have been processed.--swfritter 15:32, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Hello, and nice that someone else is working with Analogs. I personally haven't gotten a physical copy of even May issue yet - seems it probably got lost in mail :-( You might want to place the regular columns to their respective series. Tpi 05:49, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
And you might be interest in Tpi's reading diary.--swfritter 13:32, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the tips. I've added columns into their series. I have quite a collection of back issues (and not just Analog), so I can (as time permits) help with verifying. AJWM 23:32, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
