My name is William van Ruth. I'm from The Netherlands that small country in Europe next to Germany. What can I tell about my self, I'm 51 years old and I like books, it was always so. From an early age I began with comics then thrillers and ordinary novels, fantasy and now for about ten years I'm really into SF. I like everything about it, the adventure, the cosmic scale of it, and the science. Before I really joined the ISFDB editors, I used the site many times to check on author's and their books, because here is the one site where you can find al this info.

There are about 1800 books in my collection, 1500 books are Science Fiction and Fantasy and it grows every month. So I've a lot of reading to do. I also like series and making them complete so I can read everything, even the short stories. If you have a question about the books I verified just ask on my Talkpage, you wil always get an response(I check my Talkpage every day). Also I'm just a beginner my self and I had a lot of help from the moderators of the ISFDB database, so thanks to you all.
