-My name is William van Ruth. I'm from The Netherlands that small country in Europe next to Germany. What can I tell about my self, I'm 51 years old and I like books, it was always so. From an early age I began with comics then thrillers and ordinary novels, fantasy and now for about ten years I'm really into SF. I like everything about it, the adventure, the cosmic scale of it, and the science.

-Before I really joined the ISFDB editors, I used the site many times to check on author's and their books, because here is the one site where you can find al this info.
-There are about 1800 books in my collection, 1500 books are Science Fiction and Fantasy and it grows every month.
-So I've a lot of reading to do. I also like series and making them complete so I can read everything, even the short stories.
-If you have a question about the books I verified just ask on my Talkpage, you wil always get an response(I check my Talkpage every day).
-Also I'm just a beginner my self and I had a lot of help from the moderators of the ISFDB database, so thanks to you all.
