I've been a book collector since the age of 10, over 40 years now. Mostly SF and mystery but there's also a large block of science, history, politics and stuff that sure looked interesting at the time I bought it. I tend to collect by author and so end up with a lot of different subject matter on the shelves.
I also have an interest in bibliographic reference books even if I don't collect the author and so have accumulated a reasonable selection of reference material.
