My name is Andrea, I was born in 1955 and live in Italy. I am an electronic engineer, working in an Health Research Institution. I started reading Science Fiction when I was 13 years old, and practically taught myself English to read second-hand SF books that I could buy cheap in a small shop near Trinità dei Monti in Rome.
I am an avid reader but not a systematic collector, the fact is that I have not the heart to throw away books ...
I have found ISFDB while looking for info about the books I hold in my personal archive, and I was thrilled by the possibility to contribute myself to the endeavor.
After adding-verifying the English books I own, I will put some effort in adding information on Italian books and magazines, to complement the valiant effort Ernesto Vegetti put into it.
