Been reading SF since about 12 years old, getting hooked with my first Conklin anthology (still looking for that one). Educated in the sciences; worked over 30 years in telecommunications, now doing something I like: finishing carpentry. Handy when shelves/library addition(s) are needed, which seems almost monthly.

Stumbled on this site quite by accident and used it as a source for many months before realizing I could '''add''' to it!!! Bet the current moderators rue that day....! LOL!! I appreciate everyone's patience with a neophyte bibliographer.

No set goals for my possible contributions; maybe some will become clearer once I get through my collection at least once. I think getting rid of duplicate entries/records would be something to attack one year!

On a temporary note: I will be off here for about six weeks as I am having heart surgery in two days and because I live out in the bush on an acreage and can't drive for six weeks will be spending that recuperation time away from my books. My surgeon was so impressed with my recuperative powers he gave me back my driving privileges two weeks early, so I am back to bug everybody...er...start editing again! Lucky me. And I feel almost like new.--[[User:Bluesman|Bluesman]] 20:35, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
