• ISBN / Catalog # - An field for identification numbers. Should hold the ISBN if the publication has one. For magazines, it is allowable to enter the ISSN. For works that predate ISBNs, the book's catalog number may be placed here. If the book had neither an ISBN nor a catalog number, the field should be left blank. Some catalog numbers are printed in multiple different ways, and consensus should be reached on the talk page for significant publisher runs. For example, DAW Books have used codes such as "UQ1064"; the book with this code has "UQ1064" on the front cover, and 451-UQ1064-095 on the spine. Which should be entered is an issue for the DAW Books project page. If there is a catalog number in addition to an ISBN, the catalog number should be placed in the Notes field.
