An example of "Tandem Science Fantasy" is [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?BRKTHBRBRN1970 Brak the Barbarian-- The Mark of the Demons]. Tandem also published "Tandem Fantasy" e.g. [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?234449 The Silver Stallion] and "Tandem Sci-Fi", e.g. [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?119301 Planet of No Return]. Tandem were also earlier users of the "Target" imprint best known for Doctor Who books - there has been some effort made at ISFDB to keep 1970s Tandem-Target publications separate from Wyndham -Target etc. The Company (rather than any of the imprints) may also be referred to as Universal-Tandem and are also the company responsible for British versions of If and Galaxy magazines of the time. Published "Tandem science fantasy" ca. 1973, which reprinted John Norman's Gor novels, Lin Carter's Thongor novels and John Jakes' Brak the Barbarian novels. Reconciled with OCLC, which seemingly covers about half the publications (~20). Ahasuerus 00:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
