Similarity to Project Gutenberg

Whre possible, I follow the same formats and standards as are described in Publisher:Project Gutenberg. -DES Talk 15:13, 20 Mar 2008 (CDT)

Listing as publisher

When I enter as a publication of a work an etext from Project Gutenberg of Australia, I list the publisher as "Project Gutenberg of Australia", because I consider that such an etext forms a new and separate edition of the work. -DES Talk 15:13, 20 Mar 2008 (CDT)

Etext number

All Project Gutenberg of Australia works are identified by an "etext number" which is a persistent identifier. Unlike the practice at Project Gutenberg, the etext number appears in some cases to contain a letter indicating the format of the etext edition: "t" for ascii .txt files, and "h" for html files. Other codes may be in use.

Date of original

Project Gutenberg of Australia frequently does not indicate the date of the original publication of a text, so this information must be obtained form other sources. Also, the edition transcribed is usually not indicated, and in some cases transcriptions may be based on multiple editions.
