Hodder & Stoughton since 1868 (Hodder and Stoughton Ltd from 1919), but not publishers of fiction till [Ca] 1917. In 1993 it was taken over by Headline Book Publishing to become Hodder Headline Plc.
Main ISBN Prefix 0340, but that's used for the paperback imprints like Coronet too.
